Since they do not want to be stuck in the lower rung of society’s ladder for the rest of their lives as they scrape the bottom of the barrel and accept handouts or charity from those sitting in their high perches above, ambitious folks dreaming of better days ahead are pushing the pedal to the metal, shifting to a higher gear, going into overdrive and blazing at top speed in their respective professions. Nice guys finish last and they do not want to be left behind choking on the dust of those who are already far ahead in the rat race of life therefore they must do everything in their power to put themselves in prime position and great vantage point to climb all the way to the top of the corporate totem pole while they still have the strength and the ability to do so. Sooner or later, they will reap what they have sown with their own, two hands because what goes around comes around and people get what they rightfully deserve in due time as long as they are willing to roll up their sleeves and work each and every day.
